White spots on lips and something a bit swollen - what is it

I have small white spots scattered on the upper lip (some 5-6 of them) and they're rather small, like pinpricks. They do not hurt and if squeezed nothing happens. There is also another spot with them that looks swollen like an ulcer and looks a bit like ulcer, also whitish. which to my knowledge i can't squeeze either. I've had all of this for some 2 months now and though it's painless it does rather annoy and worry me. what could it be? any ideas? thanks!
