I've been having this problem for quite some time now but never knew how to talk to someone about this. I have been experiencing a discharge all the time. Since I was about 12 years old it has been happening and causing me to smell in the viginal area. Sometimes when I work out it gets worse and sometimes I can just be sitting there and it happens. I have never liked the way it has smelled and it's held me back from doing a lot of things. I don't know what it is or what to do for it.. Please help.[/code]

I used to get that all the time too, and i'd be embarrassed to take off my underwear in front of my boyfriend because i always thought he'd be grossed out if the white stuff was there....
Once i started taking birth control, the white stuff and it's gross smell both went away-- before that, i asked my gynacologist about it, and she thought it was a yeast infection. it wasnt. when i asked my pediatrician, he said its completely normal for that to happen when you're going through puberty. you are probably fine!

i just don't know what to tell you on how to get rid of the smell, i wish i knew! i'd get birth control if i were you, it completely got rid of that stuff AND my acne... and it made my boobs bigger. you can get it for free without your parents knowing at Planned Parenthood! =)
