Men masterbate because it gives a feeling of great pleasure, it is not scientificaly neccessary. but that is a highly dissputable fact. lol

Is kinda weird, all that jerking off. I've personally only done it 3 times in my life. The first time was 20 years ago when I was 14 years old, and the other two times were earlier today.

Hhehe, that's funny there! Laughing

Men (like myself) do it, because...

1. It feels good.

and 2. It helps release stress and tension.

I Lol'ed

For me it's sad to say but it's kind of an addiction now. If I get a boner, it's annoying so I can;

A. Set it free
B. Wait it out
C. Flick my sack (NOT GOOD)

Also when you ejaculate you feel like a great weight has been lifted..

Ever notice how when your masturbating while watching pron you enjoy it, and after you ejaculate it's boring?

Yeah, that had nothing to do with the question.

The answer to your question is actually alot like the punchline to an old crude joke...

"Why do dogs lick their balls?"
A: Because they can.

Why do men masturbate? Because they can.

It gives them great pleasure, when they want it, as fast or slow as they want it, and since no one else is involved, their response is lightning fast.

You might also ask, why do women masturbate, and you'll get almost the same answers, except, for many women, sex and sexual feelings are more involved in feelings of love and being loved.

For men, it can be a solitary act, and have no great significance or consequences.

But not always.

Does that answer your question?

unlike women men have their sexual organ outside of the body. The penis is constantly being stimulated since birth. men reach their sexual peak at 18 while women reach theirs at 30. During puberty guys are not prepared for the surge of testosterone. During puberty an avg teen gets 20+ erections a day. This is normal. A guy on avg get's horny 33% more than women as in a guy gets horny 5 times more than women on a daily basis. With that in mind, it is the major reason for masturbation in men. It is a normal activity that should not be discouraged. Let the record show those that deny their sexuality can have mental problems, as well as personality disassociation from sex. Same with gay and lesbians. Which is not a matter of choice, considering that human sexuality and orientation is set in by age 6.
