My mother has been suffering from migraines almost her entire life and she has been changing medicaments very often. Anyway, her last therapy is including cyclizine and I would like to know why is an antihistamine, included in some antimigraine preparations? Can they really help? I would appreciate any info you could give me.

Cyzlizine is the drug used for dealing with the several symptoms including those that are caused by some other condition. So, it is possible that this drug is used in therapy for preventing some symptoms of the migraine. Anyway, the best she can do is monitor her overall condition and see if the therapy is effective or not.
