Will ablation work for having additional heart beats?

Hello, folks. I was found irregular heartbeats. I think my doctor said I had additional heartbeats. He suggests me to try with ablation. I wonder whether this therapy will work for me. I would really appreciate all your replies. Your help will mean a lot to me. Bye and thanks, guys!

Hello. The full name of this procedure is catheter ablation. It involves a tube (catheter) inserted into the heart. Through this catheter an electrical energy is sent. It resets the heartbeat or stops it on order to place a mechanical pacemaker. This procedure can be done under general anesthesia or under a deep sedation. Results are mostly good.
