Will health insurance cover for Somnoplasty?

Hi, folks. My husband snores a lot and I really don’t know what to do with him anymore. My neighbor recommended me somnoplasty as a solution. I would like to know if this procedure is covered by health insurance. Can anyone tell me something more about this? I would appreciate it.

Hi, there. I have heard also that somnoplasty is a good solution for snoring. It is a simple surgical procedure. It removes the soft tissue from uvula and soft palate. I think that basic health insurance does not cover this procedure. After all, you can think of it as a “cosmetic” procedure. I don’t know how much it costs. You should consult about this with the clinic’s legal team. They will give you some answers. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
