Hemangioma is something I think a lot about these days. Actually, it just might be the only thing on my mind lately. My son's (three months old) hemangioma showed up last week on his back and the doctors are not yet sure what to do about it. It is not big, but it's there and it frightens me. Will it shrink in size eventually?

Well, it just might happen. Many doctors think that hemangioma, if its position is not life threatening should be left alone and that it will pass on its own in time. On the other hand, some think that aggressive approach is more reliable and effective, using all means possible to eliminate event the slightest threat possibility. I assume that there is no need for worrying at the moment.
