I am going to send my son to a martial art school. Kung Fu is his choice. It is probably because of Bruce Lee (he has watched all his movies). I know something about martial arts myself. I have heard that Wing Chun Kung Fu is one of the most respected martial art. Why is that? Does Wing Chun mean something?

To answer you I have to tell you a part of Wing Chun Kung Fu history. Long time ago five grandmasters of martial art in China has met to find I way to decrease the training time needed to became master. They have managed but their temple was burned and they were killed all except Ng Mui, a nun. She has passed her knowledge to young orphan girl and named her Wing Chun which means hope for the future. Wing Chun has passed her knowledge to husband who has named the style according to her. For a long time only a few one had privilege to practice Wing Chun.
