Worried! My period was late. Then it lasted only two days. What's Wrong?

Hi, I am 21 years old and I always have a regular period. In january all was well. I was on bc but I stopped taking it after my period due to an infection. I havent been back on it since. My period this month was 3 days late. When it came, it was extremely light and only lasted 2 days. I dont know what's going on. I have been having unprotected sex. But he has not ejaculated in me. Please assist. Thanks.
