Alright, so I'm 19 - and my boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months.. but nothing.. Until the other day when I went to get a pap test.

The doctor noticed that my uterus was enlarged and after doing a pee test, confirmed the assumption that I was infact pregnant.

Now my next doctors appointment is on May 8th and im extremely nervous that i'm going to do something to hurt the baby.. or something has already gone wrong.. Everyone I talk to tells me about how important the first trimester is and how many things can go wrong. I just don't want to be worrying.. and I wish that the appointment would come faster.

In the morning i sometimes feel a slight pain along the side of my stomach.. no cramps or bleeding or anything like that.. should I be worried and go into the doctor early for an ultrasound? I don't know.. I just don't want anything to happen to the baby. Sad

Honey, although pregnancy is a glorious time you are going to have a LOT of pains, cramps and aches.....your body is going through a huge amount of changes because it is growing a whole other person inside...and it only gets worse...wait until the 3rd trimester where you have a 40 pound weight sending shooting pains throughout your entire body lol....The only time you should worry is if you get painful, period like heavy cramps with bleeding (spotting is normal but not necessary in the first trimester) other than that your fine. Read some books like what to expect and check out websites like babycenter.com they all have some great info

Just eat right, take your vitamins, don't stress out and stay away from drugs and alcohol and you will be fine. Your body does the rest. GET lots of rest...and listen to yourself...you will be SO tired the next few weeks and you need your rest... the 1st and 3rd trimester is the worst...the 2nd is when you want to get everything done because you will feel so good.

Congradulations!!!
