Worried am i premenopausal or could it be somthing else.

Please help, I have always had heavy periods but my last usual one was in June. Since then, I have had two really really light periods in july. I did not have a period in august. A couple of days ago i notices a funny smell when i wiped myself after going to the loo. I had/have no discharge. I have now began a period and it is very smelly, pain full but not as heavy as a normal period would be for me. I am worried, confussed, and not sure what to do. I am aware i could have began the menopause as I am 43. But it all doesn't seem right. I always feel stupid when i visit the doctors over periods, i always feel fobbed off. I have beeb anemic in the past. due to heavy periods so i have been told. please help i dont know what i should do.

I just want to report that I am also 43 and for a couple of years I have noticed minimal spotting on occassion at ovulation. i had my period August17 and just got it again 2 days ago...not a real heavy period but more than spotting

i of course am convinced i am dying and because i am going through divorce (he was cheating) i dont have health insurance or the money for a doctor....so the stress is getting to me too. i have three kids under 13 and this is a really tough situation

i will pray for us all
