Hello, folks. My friend has breathing problems and suspects that he has aneurysm. I am not sure why he thinks that, but he is convinced in that. I would like to know if thoracic aortic aneurysm would even cause problems with breathing. I would be grateful for all your replies. Bye!
Hello. Thoracic aortic aneurysm is mostly without symptoms. They are usually discovered by chance on X-ray or CT. When they leak or rupture, then symptoms begin. Usually it is a burning pain in the chest. This pain usually follows the direction of dissection. Breathing problems are not usual, but I guess when there is pain in the chest, then breathing is compromised as well. Your friend should definitely go for a checkup. Maybe he has some other condition. I hope I’ve helped. Bye!
