Would diabetic medicines help you lose some weight?

Hello! I have diabetes and my doctor told me that I need to loose some weight. I think that cholesterol is my problem, but I am not sure. I am wondering now will diabetic medicines help me to lose some weight. If it will not, please tell me what to do to loose my weight. This is very stressful period of my life, believe me.

Hello! If you take insulin, that will probably cause loosing of your weight. But, I can tell you that you must not wait to loose weight because of usage of insulin. I am sure that your doctor prescribed you healthy diet and you need to follow it. Also, you should start with some exercise. Also, you should eat lot of fresh vegetables and fruits.
