What is Xopenex Inhaler used for? My father got prescription for Xopenex on his last doctor visit. What should we know about this medication before he starts using it? Are there some special conditions that requires Xopenex inhaler? Also, I want to know, is there any serious side effects we should know?

Xopenex Inhaler is medication used for treating diseases in which bronchospasm (tightening of air ways) is main symptom. Among those diseases are: asthma, bronchitis, emphysema and others. Your father should use this drug as prescribed and with any occurrence of side effects he should contact his doctor. Possible side effects can be related to heart and blood vessels.
