I have been on YAZ for 3 months now and it has turned me into a complete monster! I have never had mood swings and now I flip out for no reason. I have anger and depression that I never had before. I start feeling PMS symptoms 2 weeks before my period! My breasts get really swollen and it is painful. My period lasts longer and I have more blood clots than I have ever had! I am ruining my relationships with all the people around me because of my outrageous behavior! I have never been a horrible person until I started this pill!

I have heard of this happening to women before. You should probably tell your doctor or health care professional. If it changes your mood to that much of an extreme and makes your period worse than it was without it, Yaz may not be the oral contraceptive for you. I've heard of a lot of women going through multiple brands of birth control pills until they find the one for them, so it may be a test and see approach for you.
