Hey everyone,

So I haven't started taking Yaz yet, just got my prescription today. But I was just wondering when all of you started your first pack? Some people say to start it when your period starts, but my Doctor told me I could go ahead and start this sunday. After hearing all of this about not having a period after three packs i'm a little curious. If I start it this sunday (I'm not expecting my period until around the 28th of this month) I'm just wondering if it'll cause me to miss it or not. Any opinions or experiences are appreciated.

Thanks girls! Smile

I'm a bit worried that i may be pregnant. for about a week and a half i cant brush my teeth without throwing up this is not normal for me...this is frustrating... when I first started yaz i had my period for a whole month the 2nd month and last month my period was very light and ended shortly... I always get my period during the 4 days of inactives....ahhh some advice..... Confused

I have been on Yaz for over a year now and have never missed a period untill this month. I also was worried about being pregnant. After taking 2 test and showing neg on both and reading all of these comments I will no longer worrie. I have had no problems with this birth control. I have gained some wieght but my moods are so much better and I love the short periods. Im very glad to of found this site and see that this is a common effect of the pill.

Ahhhhh! I am so scared. I take my ocella (off brand of yaz and yasmin) the way I'm suppossed to. If ever I am only a couple hours late. I had sex before taking my first white pill. I have been on ocella for around 6 months. This will be the thrid night of taking the white pill! I'm very afraid right now! My boyfriend tried to help calm me down but he is not the one going to push out the baby when he is wrong. If anyone could just help me out!

I searched online to see if this has happened to anyone else. I was taking Yaz and I had an unusual period in December (started when I was still on the pink pills). I ended the last of the 4 white Yaz pills at the end of December and got pregnant December 31!!! So much for birth control. If you're thinking you might be pregnant, you should take a test, stop the pills, and go see a doctor. Good luck.
