Yaz headaches?

A friend of mine just started taking Yaz one week ago, and for the past few days, she's been having pretty bad headaches. Is it possible that this is a side effect of the Yaz? Has anyone else had similar symptoms?

You're friend and I have been suffering similar symptoms. I have been on yaz for about a month and a half, suffering severe headaches, weight loss, and lack of appetite at times. Tell her to have a visit with the doctor that perscribed her Yaz. They can discuss options, and perhaps alternative forms of birth control to fit her needs.
