I have been suffering from a severe vaginal problem for over a year and a half now. It all started the first time i had sex, when i got a yeast infection and has not gone away since. I have been to the gyno atleast 6 times now for the same problem. SHe has prescribed me medication, after medication, after medication. Everything seems to work for a few days but comes back again, in most cases whenever i have sex or start to PMS. The ongoing symptoms are burning and itching, along with a discharge. You'd think it's a yeast infection...but its not- i have been prescribed some of the best medications for that...but it still comes back! I have been tested for STD's- all came back negative. My doctor is starting to believe its eczema... but then why am i having such severe discharges?? Is it possible to be allergic to your own fluid? HELP!! I cant deal with it anymore!!

Hi goldie
I am so sorry to hear about your problem. I too have been suffering the same since I have been married. At least you have gone to the doctor. I keep living in denial, not wanting to deal with it.
But, I do have two suggestions.
1. There is an over the counter test you can buy that will tell you if you have a yeast infection. I have yet to try it, but I think it might help you.
2. The one thing I find that does help me is acidolpholis. These are the good critters that get destroyed in our digestion. They also help with yeast infections (thats why you are suppose to eat yogurt). I have found that taking this helps...when I rememeber to take it.
I highly suggest getting the Jarro refrigerated kind. It is more potant than the ones not refrigerated.
When I did go to the gyno, she said that my husband's sperm could be bothering me. She explained that it is a very acid fluid that can irritate. She suggested rinsing up in that area with water to flush it out.
I have yet to try it as it kind of kills the mood afterward.
I hope you find relief and would love to know what works for you.
Keep me posted. : )
