Yellow/Brown Vaginal dishcarge and itching

I am a 21 yr old female who has been sexually active with the same person for almost a year. I have previously had 2 yeast infections not long after going on the pill.

For a couple of weeks now i have been feeling an urge to go to the toilet alot. I have to drop anything i am doing to get there in time. At the end of urination there was a feeling of i guess you could say a strong need to keep going - not a burning but or pain i guess, but really uncomfortable.
I had had this happen early in my teens and just left it to go away.

It has pretty mcuh gone now except for the urgency to
get to the toilet. But to accompany this in the last few days i have been feeling a strange almost itch in my vagina - not around it but in it and it seems worse after intercourse. This morning there was also a yellow/brown discharge that is nothing like discharge from spotting. There is no odour and i am feeling no pain. I am booking myself an appointment for the doctor just wondering if anyone could give me an idea what if anything i might have... i was thinking it might be BV?

yes, it could be bacterial vaginosis or another kind of infection by intestinal bacteria maybe.

These usually cause burning as well. Either way, they are easilly treated but it is important that you see your gyn. I hope it goes away soon.

Actually an intestinal infection would make sense as i had some sort of stomach bug a few months ago and i havent quite been the same since...
