|
|
A week ago I started to notice I had a yellow milky substance coming out of the tip of my penis and a burning sensation throughout the day, right away I thought STI! I had unprotected sex about five weeks earlier and am just starting to see a new woman. I went to the doc, he tested me for all STI/STD's and a urinary infection and all the tests came back clean. He said just keep an eye on it for a few weeks and if it still exists come back in. I am worried. The tip of my penis is quite red and irritated, almost swollen. I have been putting Neosporin on it but it does not seem to help. I was thinking maybe this was a side effect from dry humping (you know new relationship) with my new partner and my penis got REALLY irritated.....please any advise would help.
Forgot to add I take the following meds, Propecia for hair loss dailey, mens one a day vitamin, Fish oil, milk Thistle occasionally, creatine for a few weeks then I go off for a few weeks, Protein shakes, b-vitamins |

It really does sound like a STD. When the doctor gave you your test, did he swab out the inside of your urethra with a q tip? This is the proper way to test for STD like Chlamydia or gonorrhea.
Also, sounds like you are trying to bulk up for the description above. If you lift weights, sometimes this can put pressure on your genitals and cause some swelling or cause you to urinate a little from all the straining and that causes irritation. |

They tested my urine which my doc said was accurate and the new way to test for STI's, I only noticed these symptoms about 5 weeks after I had un-protected sex as well....what I have heard is you would normally see these symptoms a week to two weeks after catching a STI.
One other thing to mention is I have felt like I have had the flu for the last 6-8 weeks.....I did get antibiotics from my doc and am on the 5th day (amoxicillin it does not seem to be working. He said if I had a STI it should not cause flu like symptoms.
Could the Propecia cause these issues? |

UPDATE- went back to the doc and had them do a swab test for all STI's again, everything came back clean.
The doc told me the only thing he can do is send me to a Urologist.
Anyone have any other idea's what this could be, I really do not want to be poked anymore. |

|

I recently had yellow puss appear between the penis and the skin around it. There were red 'scar' looking streaks - short ones - on the inner surface of the skin. Directly on the outside portion of the skin, where the 'scar' is located at the inner portion, a degree of numbness is felt. The portion of the skin that has the scar also seems to be an inflammation - thicker than other areas of the skin.
The interesting thing is, I have not had sex!! So based on the symptoms, is this nevertheless considered as a 'Sexually' Transmitted Disease? Of course, having no sex includes having no safe and non-safe sex, or any other form of 'sex'.
So what exactly is causing this? |
