Hi, is there anyone who can tell me more about yoga in cancer treatment? I heard that it can be effective for some sorts of cancer?

Hi, yoga can be helpful for cancer patients, as it provides mind and body peace. It is very important for these patients as they are distracted by frightening, sometimes contradictory, information. They undergo invasive, painful procedures, and usually find too little compassion for themselves. Meditation and relaxation help in reliving tension, so energy flow in organism is stimulated. A sense of well-being and strength is crucial for fighting the disease. Breathing and meditating will make the mind grow more clear and steady.
