I am 17 and I live with my mom. I have always been good girl and never made trouble. Few months ago I met this great guy and we fell in love. He was my first and I really love him. One week ago I found out that I am pregnant. I have talked about it with my boyfriend and he wants me to keep the baby and move in with him. He also wants us to get married, by the way he is 24. My problem is that I don't know how to say that to my mom?

What ever you decide to do, the one thing is sure, you need to talk to your mother. You need to tell her everything, she deserves it. She is your mother and needs to know what is going on with you. Be honest with her and I hope that she will be there for you. Tell her what you want to do, if you are planning to get married, keep the baby or not. She can give you some good advices, I am sure in that. After all, she has experience being a mother. You need to realize that you are still so young and that having a baby is a great responsibility. It is nice that you are having a support of your boyfriend and that he is there for you. A lot of girls in your situation find themselves alone and abandoned by their boyfriends. I can not tell you what to do in regard to your baby. It is a choice that you need to make. But you also need to realize that once baby comes it stays there for the rest of your life. You will be missing a lot of things that teenagers usually experience, but then again you will have your baby, and that is the most important thing. Hope that everything will be ok with your mother.
