Dear sir/madam
I am writing to let you know about my nephew who is eight years old, my nephews and myself are staying with my family being the holiday period, Burnie Tasmania.
My nephew has been in pain, as he has mentioned that his penis is stinging at the end of it, where it happens at times when he has finished going to the toilet also when he is not going to the toilet. Where he has said he has got a stinging feeling when he is resting (laying down). He said it has been like it for a year and a half, it also seems like his younger brother gets the same problem as he is seven years old, but it seems that his younger brother has not had the stinging problem during the hoilday period. I asked the older brother what does your dad do when you get the stinging feeling, he said for him to lay down.
I have some questions about the above:
I am wondering if such an issue is a problem or it is normal for boys of this age to have?
Also both boys are un-circumcised so i am wondering would such be contributing to the problem?
What would be good for the older boy to do. and also use to help stop the pain?
With talikng with family members we discussed in helping the child, perhaps if he had a warm bath, and he pulled back the skin on his penis to clean, also to help relive the pain to use some cream on his penis.
