Hi, I am 6 moths pregnant. I had problems with nausea so I had to take some drug. I had started to use Zofran. It was two months ago. After a while I have decided to use only once a day (before I was using it 3 times a day). Then I started to feel anxiety and skipped heart beats. Could it be that I have become addicted to this drug?

It is highly unlikely. Zofran acts similarly to antidepressants, but in a different way. It can influence on vomiting center. It works on receptors for serotonin. It also can influence on the heart. You just have to take a time to assimilate your body on this drug. Also body needs time to realize that you are stopping to use it. Nothing to be afraid of, but see your doctor to consult with him.
