| Hi, I am a guy 52 years old and I suffer from depression. My doctor prescribed me Zoloft, and I am successfully using it for a month. It is working but I can’t find it in all local drug stores, and the worker say that Celexa is the same thing. Can I switch from one to another? Do they work the same way? |

| Yes. It is almost the same thing. Those drugs don’t stimulate the brain to create more serotonin. It holds the serotonin in your brain and keeps it longer in the body. After a while you become resistant to those drugs. I think you can switch to it (it is a similar drug that work the same way), but I think you should consult a doctor. You know, there are many drugs that are similar to other, but some people react differently to them. Only because of that you should take my advice. |
