Hi, I was on zopiclone (7.5mg) for about 2 1/2 years taking 2 pills a night. I thought that these stories about addiction are myths. But I couldn't stop taking it just like that, I was very scared about my state. Actually, I needed more and more, I went to a few doctors to have my therapy changed. Finally, I got down to 1 per night, and then later I even managed to take none and no withdrawal symptoms. I have been prescribed with serquel(100mg) per night with the zopiclone, plus 2 amitriptaline(20mg). I believe that the sercquel and amitriptyline hava taken its place.
