Hi, my friend is 32 years old and he is suffering from schizophrenia for more than 8 years. He is under medication and he is pretty good now. He is using Haldol for quite long time and it makes him feel good with some side effects which he already used to it. When he visited his psychiatrist last time he suggested him to switch to Zyprexa because this medication is easier to use and has less side effects. I would like to know if someone has experience with Zyprexa.

Hi, I am using zyprexa for more than six months and I can say only good things about it. Before that I was using Haldol and it was much heavier medication for me. Side effects which were appearing while I was using Haldol are just disappeared. I don't feel dizziness; there is not hypersensitivity on sun and many other things. I would suggest your friend to try Zyprexa.
