Zyprexa prescribed to teenager son?

Hi, my friend's son is 15 years old and he was behaving very strange lately. I know his father, my very good friend, from college and he told me that doctor prescribed Zyprexa to him when they visited him last week. I know that he had some mental problems so I would like to know something more about this medication.

Hi, Zyprexa is medication which is usually prescribed for treating bipolar disorders and schizophrenia. It is medication of new generation and it is very popular because it may be take once time per day. It showed good results in treating hallucinations and apathies. I guess that son of your friend has one of these two disorders.
