I just turned 47. My doctor told me a year ago I was perimenopausal. Hubby and I are separated but we do still have the occasional intimacy. We were intimate on April 15-6 (around midnight - not sure if it was before midnight or after). I was at the very end of my period. My periods have been occurring 23-26 days for the past several months to a year. We have not used any type of birth control in about 2 years and I've never been late or had any unusual periods (some heavier than others but still normal for me) until now. I noticed I had a discharge for a few days (like I used to have before I was perimenopausal) between the time hubby and I were intimate until I started my "swipe only" peiod on Saturday evening. I've also been jumpy, stressed, I don't know how to describe it since April 30th.... PMSy might be a good term.... My breasts aren't sore, no bloating, occasionally I'll feel very, very slightly crampy. I don't know whether this is menopause setting in or if I could possibly be pregnant. I did take an OTC pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative. Never had a urine pregnancy test come out positive though.

Does anyone have any thoughts? The spotting was brownish a day or so, pinkish a day or so and now it's sort of brownish red.... or pinkish.... no real consistency on color.....
