YOU SHOULD BE GETTING prenatal care by NOW IF you intend to keep the pregnancy!!!

A GYN visit will be able to tell what type of infection you may in fact have. A FUNNY SMELL is not a good sign.

I would get this checked out by your doctor or even a clinic if you do not have a regular GP or so forth.
In the meantime, do not be scared of what is happening to your body or that your boyfriend has tattoos - this stuff can happen and can be normal. A clinic can offer sound advice and help ease your mind. As I have had one child as a single mom it can be scary but seeking proper advice is better, a baby is awesome, makes sure it works out like that. Smelly, etc... can be par for the course - welcome to pregancy!
Let me know what happens!

Contact your OB or doctor as that is the only way to know exactly what is happening. Even speaking to a doctor over the net wouldn't provide you with a correct diagnosis.

However, my best guess is that you have a yeast infection. They are extremely common during pregnancy.

Have you had your first round of bloods taken? They are usually taken around 10 weeks. Generally you are tested for STI at this time. If you had something in that regards to worry about, it should have shown up then and your OB would have contacted you. If you haven't had them taken yet or had a blood test and not sure what it was for, then speak to your OB. It's one of the major benefits of pregnancy, you are constantly tested and watched like a hawk. If there is just about anything health wise wrong with mom to be then they will pick it up. So take advantage of it.
