+ pregnancy test but i got my period

yesterday i took a pregnancy test it came out positive. today i got my period. could i be pregnant or is the test wrong. i need advice i dont know what to think

Hey, there is a very slight chance that a urine test can come out wrong. Its not usually likely, but i would either take another one, or just go to the doctors to get a blood test. Some people, its very uncommon, but some do get their period when they are pregnant. As long as you don't have any severe cramping, i think that your probably fine, but call your doctor and let them know what is going on...after all if your test said positive you need to be seen anyway by the doctor, but its pretty safe to say that yes you probably are pregnant just getting your period. Or it could have been a chemical pregnancy.
you should go to the doctors regardless.
