Last week, while coming back from the work I was reading some article about the art of psychotic patients. I was amazed that there are some really good works. I don’t understand why they are doing something like that. Do they have some special talent for art or it is a part of some kind of a therapy?
They are no more talented then other people. It is the part of therapy. I am psychiatrist who is responsible for that kind of therapy in one health institution. It helps them to calm down. It also helps them to focus their thoughts on something relaxing. It can break theirs mind patterns for some time. They are easier to talk to while they are busy with the art.
