| Hello, I am in 5th month. I've noticed as my pregnancy progress I frequently experience oedema (swelling of tissue). It is worst in my ankles. I don't know if it is dangerous? I guess I am full of fluids, right? What can I do to prevent myself from swelling up? I need some help with this, thanks. |

| Although in the majority of cases oedema is nothing to worry out, if you find that you swell up in higher regions of your body such as in your face or it persists for prolonged periods of time, it is very important to contact your doctor. Well, basics-drinking plenty of water and other clear fluids, moving around every hour or so, avoid are sitting or standing for too long. |
