Hi, my daughter is having some symptoms of migraine, but still I am not sure if she is just preoccupied with her studies. How can it be determined if she is affected by migraine?

Hi, migraine headaches don’t have to be provoked by anything and are long lasting. If there is a family history of migraines her chances for developing migraine are greater, but still there is no prove, that she is affected by migraine. She can take some pain killers, or specific migraine medications, but she may need a prescription for those. If episodes of headaches continue even after her examinations, she should check it with doctor. Relief from stress and meditation, just like other relaxing techniques, may be beneficial.
