a lot of white discharge all of a sudden

I always used to get a certain amount of discharge, but the past week or so I have been getting a LOT more than usual and more frequently as well. Sometimes it is really thick but other times it is very thin. I am on birth control and am due for my period next week, but this has never happened to me before. I constantly have to excuse myself to go wipe. I haven't had sex for about 3 weeks so I do not think I am pregnant. I also have had several yeast infections before so I know it's not one of those either. What else could this be?

You might have to go to a doctor to get it looked at if it doesnt fade away.. i dont think it is anything to worry about, but if it is getting to the point where it is disturbing your daily routine then i would get it checked out.. i remember being heavily pregnant (8.5months) and having a similar white discharge, i went to the doctor and he said that it was due to excess blood flow in my body.. i have heard a few of my girlfriends say their doctors said the same thing (but they were not pregnant) that it was just excess blood flow in the genitalia and it casues extra discharge.. still if it worries you go to a doctor.. hope this ties you over til then..
