abdominal cramping... Pregnant or not?

I am on the pill and had unprotected sex a month ago while i was in the second day of my period with the inactive pills. After that my period had stopped. 1 week after that happened i started having pain in my left to middle of my abdomen off and on. I had to pee more often and suddenly. now one month after having unprotected sex i have the same abdominal pain just more painful and all the time. i am still peeing more frequent, my stomach itches , and my sense of smell has increased. I am not having morning sickness. 6 days before my missed period i took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. It is now 3 days before my missed period. I am not sure what i should do. could i still be pregnant or is this something else?
