abdominal pain after eating

I think my father might have an ulcer. He eats once a day, at dinnertime, but past few days he only eats about two bites and then gives up. He complains on abdominal pain after eating mostly. He drinks a lot too, so I am not sure what his problem is, but he complains on food. I believe that is alcohol. I am very worried, what I should do?

I believe that he has ulcer problem, usually pain after eating is an ulcer. I know that gastroenterologists often see patients who complain of abdominal pain after eating. Such complaints deserve investigation, especially in older people because the incidence of stomach cancer rises with age.
