I had dated the same guy for two years. We separated for four months and recently got back together. I am finding that I am in incredible pain after intercourse. It doesn't hurt during at all-just after. I lost my virginity to him-and never had such pain after sex. Nor have I been with anyone else. What could be the problem?

It would be best to see a gynecologist and have an ultrasound and a pelvic exam to see if there's some kind of an infection or cysts on ovaries that are likely to cause pain after intercourse.
