Hello,

I am very confused on what is going on with my period, it started a week ago I think?? I wasn't really bleeding, it was only spotting and the spotting was mostly brown, that only lasted about 3-4 days, then it stopped and 4 days later it started again!!

Can you please tell me what this is?? I am currently going to a fertility clinic, and I went throw 6 months of treatment with no success and I am scheduled for a laporoscopy next week. I'm very CONFUSED...

Thank you.

LR

At this point I can say everything but not be precise about what is going on with you. First of all I have a few questions to ask you. What kind of treatments did you undergo at this fertility clinic? If the treatments failed, there is always a new chance for the new try. But considering the fact you had 6 unsuccessful treatments, there surely is the need for laporoscopy as it is obvious that something is wrong with you. It can diagnose many gynecological problems including endometriosis, uterine fibroids and other abnormalities, ovarian cysts, adhesions and ectopic pregnancy. The procedure is performed soon after menstruation. And as the matter of your period, I assume it has something to do with the irregularities you have, I just can’t say anything in particular as I am not much familiar with the problem you have. If you want to discuss about this any further, you can always come back here and write everything what you have been through, maybe someone else could help you with having the similar experience!
