Her doctor probably asks for pa smear to look at the cells from her cervix and see if there are any problems. So, an abnormal Pap smear means that the cells of her cervix have shown some slightly abnormal changes. I don’t want to worry you but I have to tell you that some abnormal cells are more likely than others to be cancerous.
