I am 22 years old and I have been on my period for the past 15 months with a heavy flow. Sometimes it may go away for a day or so but never more than 3 days to a week without being on my period. I also have at times large clots. Previous to this my period was very light and it concerns me to go to such a dramatic change in my period. I am not now or have been ever sexually active. I recently visited my doctor about this and she unfortunatly did not give me a very clear response. If someone could shed some light on this for me I would be very thankful!
