im only 18 and me and my boyfriend have only had sex 2 times.
the last time i had my period was in may around the 15th.
on may 28th we had sex but used a spermicidal condom.
he didnt cum and we checked it afterwards, by filling it up with water, to make sure it didnt leak.
then in june i missed my period.
a few weeks after i took a hpt and it came out negative.
i wasnt worried but figured if my period didnt come soon i'd take another.
well on july 4th we had sex again.
but we did the same thing.
spermicidal condom, he didnt cum, and we checked afterwards to make sure it didnt leak.
i then took another hpt about a week afterwards and it came out negative.
its now august 2nd and i still havent had my period since may.
and just recently i started having brown spotting but no other symptoms besides that and missing my period.
im planning on taking another hpt and possibly a blood test if im still unsure.
is there a good chance im pregnant? =/ |

From the activity you described it sounds unlikely that you would get pregnant. If you were, the hpts should show a result. It is possible that stressing about it is causing your period to be late. There are many reasons other than pregnancy that can cause missed periods ie hormonal imbalances, stress, diet
Maybe the best idea is a visit to the doctor. A blood test will be 100% accurate to tell if you are pregnant or not. If you aren't then the doctor may be able to find out where your period has gone. |
