about my pregnancy..

i just turned six months pregnant. i'm a high risk for the fact my baby has been sitting so low, and is head down already. i've gotten crap like pains before but none that ever bothered me. today i got them and they hurt. but only in the left side of my stomach. and it hurt to bend down. is this normal or should i contact my ob doctor?
