abscess developed in the leg under the skin?

I have a problem. I have an abscess developed in the leg under the skin. It’s painful and I’m thinking to go to doctor tomorrow. Does anybody who has experience with abscesses can tell me, please, something more about this? Maybe you can give me some good advice? Thank you!

I had one big and painful abscess few months ago. First I didn’t want to go to doctor but when I got a fever, I went there and he told me that it’s necessary to drain that abscess. After draining you will probably should to take antibiotics because of possible bacterial infection.
