Have been in perimenopause for years. Had a period in September then one in January. Met a guy in February and got carried away with him in March. Did not have intercourse but while rubbing his head on my clitorsis he came. Thought Holy Crap...my question is how would I know that I am preg and how accurate would a pregnacy test be if hormones are out of wack because of perimenopause?

the hormones involved with perimenopause have nothing to do with the pregnancy hormone and this would in now way have any effect on a pregnancy test. The only way your pregnancy test can be affected is if you are taking a fertility med that includes HCG hormone....if you are ypou would know it. Otherwise....if you are 2-3 weeks post intercourse a pregnancy test will be accurate.
