accutane breakout

I have had acne problems for the past 3 years and I’ve been through several antibiotic treatments. Two weeks ago I was put on an accutane treatment and suddenly my face burst in acne. I developed severe brakeout, and now I don’t know what to do. Should I stop using it or wait and see if this is just the way of this treatment is. I am afraid, because my face looks two times worse than it was when I started with accutane.

Hello! I had the same brakeout when I first started acutane treatment. I called my dermatologidt immediately and she told me to sit back and wait a bit because accutane doesn't start working for 2-3 months. So, I waited until everything came to its place but maybe you should go to a doctor and see if its not something alarming.

The same thing has happened to me, I was wondering for the first poster if the initial breakout resided? THanks a lot, this inital breakout is much worse than the acne I had before.
