accutane causing dark skin?

I am taking accuatne for acne problems I have, but it seems to me like my skin became darker since I started with accuatne. So, I was wondering is it safe to switch acne product in the middle of treatment? Have anyone done that? Also, does accutene causing dark skin?

I am not sure about accutane, I never used it, but I have heard that is very strong, and that causes lots of side effect, such as pigmentation, so I guess it is possible to case dark skin. I have been used Murad for about a month and a half and haven't noticed a change for the better at all. I guess that there is no product that works best. About accutane, consult pharmacist.
