Is acetamiophen safe enough to be used in pregnancy? My sister is 5 months pregnant and has low back pain. She wants to avoid al the drugs, but I guess that there are drugs that can be used in pregnancy. Are there any recommendations about its usage in pregnancy? If not, what drug can be used? Thanks.
I used acetaminophen when was pregnant. I’ve heard that it’s safe in all stages of pregnancy. My doctor recommended me to take it when needed. I avoided all the medications during first 3 months of pregnancy. I think that all the drugs should be taken with precautions in pregnancy. She should talk to her gyn first, but I guess that it would be safe. Good luck.
