I am interested in rare side effects of aciphex. I heard about differences in pharmacokinetics of some drugs in Hispanics. I need information about treatment of gastric ulcer. What is the active ingredient in aciphex? Are there any unusual side effects of aciphex in Hispanics?

Aciphex is used to decrease the amount of stomach acid. The active ingredient is rabeprazole. It is not common antihistamine. If you have liver disease you may not be able to take this drug. I think that you may need dose adjustment because of different enzyme profile. This drug doesn’t cause serious side effects. Less serious side effects are also uncommon. Maybe you will just need special monitoring during therapy.
