background of mE!!!

i am 14 going on 15, and i have had acne since the fifth grade. it became really severe in 7th grade and i felt like a freak cuz i was only in middle school. in 8th grade i lightened up due to some porducts from proactiv and various soaps. Now, in my freshman year, my acne is still pretty bad but waaayy better then before. the reason why i have so much is partly due to genetic causes.

stuff you can use

i may be young but i had acne for a while and i learned a lot. you can use a soap called St. Ives Apricot Scrub. It has exfoliating beads and leaves your skin really soft. Next, theres the Proactiv Skin lightening lotion. it costs 40 bucks but it clears but old acne scars. Then theres the traditional wash with warm then lather, then rinse with cold. i think this works great cuz the warm water clears your pours and the cold water closes the pores.

i am now using stridex pads that i got today, so hopefully these will help me.

remember to get lots of sleep so your skin can heal itself. i skateboard a lot and if you can imagine, my face is really in the air where dirt and dust can get caught. but if you wash your face when it starts to get oily, you'll most likely be fine.

and when you sleep, try not to sleep on the side of your face :]

no promises but it works for me. <(','<)

leave stuff if you want to know more.
